The MITA handmade felt slip-on mule slippers are individually handcrafted, with inside sole padding for comfort and finished with hard-wearing leather suede soles. These mule slippers are size US8/EU39/UK6. Care instructions: Spot clean with damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. A suede brush may be useful. These slippers are carefully hand-felted using mulesing-free sheep wool, soap and water. Wool is a natural insulator, with high breathability, and it resists odors due to its natural antibacterial properties! AURA QUE slippers are hand-felted by a World Fair Trade Organization certified women's co-operative in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. The natural buffalo suede is sourced from a small family tannery in Kolkata. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. The shades of grey, brown and cream are completely natural, while other colors are produced using azo-free dyes. All chemicals used in the tanning process are contained and reprocessed within the water treatment facility on site.
