Patent of Heart

Elif Akaydin began her career as a belt designer for Calvin Klein and St. John brands. She gained experience in the industry and flourished both as a buyer and assistant designer before specializing in handbags. In 2005, Elif decided to pursue her passion for fashion accessories by creating her own collection, which eventually transformed into her launching her own brand in 2014 called Patent of Heart. Elif works with a family-owned atelier in Istanbul that employ mostly women to make her beautiful accessories and she donates a percentage of her sales to support educatin for women.
