Peter James was founded in 1971 by Jim (James) Bess and Peter Moretti, and the business was named after their first names. Over the years the Peter and James expanded their talented staff to include lifelong friends and family who shared their values and work ethics. Each of their staff members brought individual skills and artistry, helping to create the unique and classic designs sold today! All of their jewelry is handmade in San Rafael, CA, using mostly silver and 14k gold fill.
