Aura Que

Laura Queening started Aura Que in 2008. After spending time teaching English and traveling in Nepal, Queening became enthralled by the people, culture, and strong traditions of handicrafts. Born in the UK, Queening always loved being creative, making things, learning and understanding materials and techniques, and working collaboratively with artisans. After running Aura Que on the road for many years, Queening settled in the UK and opened her store in Hastings in 2022. Integrity of design, ethically sourced materials, nurturing long-lasting relationships with makers and artisans, and creating products that can be treasure season after season are central to the Aura Que ethos.
