Sally Craig

ocal artist Sally Craig studied with renowned artist Mary Lee Hu at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Hu introduced her to textile weaving techniques that have influenced Sally’s jewelry line today. Using 22k gold or fine silver wire with 18k gold or sterling wire, Sally creates woven segments that are then placed into hand fabricated frames. The artist’s use of oxidized sterling silver and yellow gold creates a striking color contrast. She often adds small diamonds and druzy quartz for a sparkling effect.
