Jane Bohan

Raised by makers and appreciators of art, Jane Bohan has been surrounded by creativity since childhood. Jane studied sculpture and jewelry-making at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she began to develop her distinctive style. In 1983, she opened a studio in the SoHo district of New York City, where she still resides and works today. Using gold, oxidized sterling, quartz, and diamonds, Jane creates distinctive designs with a sleek, yet earthy appeal. Inspiration for Jane's jewelry are multi-dimensional, ranging from exotic insects and architectural drawings to sculptures, fabrics, and antiques. Her pieces are organic, urbane, and feminine.
